THE 3STYLE SOLUTION

Daval Pembroke kitchen in Porcelain

Distressed timber worktops

Sometimes kitchens come along that present a number of challenges in the execution but deliver tenfold with the reward of a great finish. This 18th century period property required a kitchen that was in keeping with the traditional country style, albeit light, airy, and open, but also required a considered installation to allow for the non-standard measurements and angles that come with buildings of this age. We really wanted to create something that was in keeping for this beautiful property but that included all the elements that a modern kitchen demands.

Daval designed and specified the best kitchen for this project to meet the requirements of the brief and we were appointed to deal with the challenging installation. The shaker style doors are from the Pembroke range in porcelain, which is subtle and timeless. The distressed timber worktops were chosen to match to the original beams and dining table bringing the whole design together.

Because this was a potentially difficult installation, it was important to the customer to appoint someone who could project manage all the different trades and create a skilled team who could meet the challenge of a period property. We were only too pleased to do this and brought in people that we knew and trusted to do a good job.
We think that you will agree that the finished kitchen is truly stunning, and it was a delight to deliver just what the customer was looking for.
Mr and Mrs Bennett provided this very kind review:
“We live in an old Weavers Mill, which was built in 1749. We had this idea for a beautiful country kitchen but were worried about making it a reality due to the sheer amount of work that needed to be completed. We met with Dean, and he assured us that along with his team, he could make our dream a reality. It’s one thing buying a perfectly square kitchen, it’s another fitting it into a room where the floor, walls and ceiling were all over the place. This initially was a huge relief, as we were concerned about bringing in various trades to complete the project, we have a busy lifestyle and were not looking to project manage this ourselves, at all. His team were fantastic, from the electrician to the plumber and the tiler, they were all really friendly, they were great with the kids, and didn’t mind the dog saying hello, which she loves to do. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, as Dean managed the whole process, exactly as he said he would. We feel so fortunate, and we don’t often complete reviews, but we just had to on this occasion. We highly recommend 3Style Kitchens, Dean was a true gentleman and we just wanted to say thank you.”
