The star of this kitchen is the huge bay window that dominates the space. Benefitting from such a great feature, that not only lets in lots of natural light but lends an unusual shape to the kitchen, we used this as our inspiration and created the kitchen around it.

We used Corian for the worktop as this allowed us to use one seamless, continuous piece with moulded sink area and an ‘up stand’ at the back.  The circular shape of the counter top, which ended with a breakfast bar, created a feeling of movement in the kitchen and is very elegant. It is a testament to the value of a made to measure kitchen as you could never create this effect with ‘off the shelf’ fittings.

For all it’s not a huge space it includes a built in fridge/freezer, single oven, microwave, warming drawer and dishwasher. The hob is gas on glass which provides the best of both worlds – fast, responsive cooking heat plus easy cleaning.

The result is a light, airy space that maximises its natural features.
