We’re delighted to tell you that we were announced the winners in our category (Home & Garden) at the Wakefield Retail Awards on Saturday. All the winners were announced at a swanky awards dinner and these included Time Bakery, India Coco, Wakefield Hospice and Hoops a Daisy.
The awards dinner was hosted by Claire Frisby from BBC’s Look North and was a great celebration of the retail industry here in Wakefield. Our MD Dean Clements was there to collect the award.
The judges awarded the Home & Garden category to us because of our strong customer service, they revealed on the night. This makes us incredibly proud as fantastic service is something we really try very hard to get right (see our customer comments to illustrate this).
Those who know us will appreciate that we’re not your usual ‘business networkers’ and attending glittering awards ceremonies (never mind winning them!) is not something that we’re used to doing. That said, we are absolutely over the moon to be recognised in this way and hope that it demonstrates that we are a great company to work with and that we do care about our customers and the experience they have buying from us.
